Term: Mouse

Refers to a device that allows the computer operator to move a cursor on the computer screen to a specific location on the screen. By pushing a button on the mouse (called a "click"), the computer performs a desired function. For example, if a computer user wanted to print a document, he or she would simply move the cursor to the "Print" icon and click on it to begin the printing process.
